# Bookings

Bookings are the heart of Wiblo. Three ideas do all the work:

- **Services** describe what clients can book: the name, how long it takes and what it costs.
- **Availability** describes when bookings can happen: weekly schedules, date overrides and time away.
- **The calendar** is where the two meet: every booking, its client and its history in one place.

A booking always belongs to a service and a client. Cancel it, reschedule it or complete it and the history stays attached, so you can always answer what happened and when.
